Threads of Life
Threads of Life is a reminder that the structures sustaining you have always been there, even when you couldn't see them.
Softly backlit by a beam of sunlight, the leaf becomes something entirely other than a leaf. The surface, translucent in the light, reveals the network within it: the darker threads that have been carrying water and nutrients to every part of this leaf throughout its entire life, invisibly, without recognition. The skeleton that has sustained it all along, only visible now because the light has arrived at exactly the right angle.
