Over to You
Someone out there moves the way you do.
Over to You is what it looks like when connection is so easy it can be shared.
I'd stepped out from under a tree when I saw them: two grey fantails darting around each other, playing. I couldn't tell if they were flirting or just having the best time. Maybe an amazing first date. Maybe a salsa class. They didn't mind me at all. They were far too busy fluttering about. When they finally landed, still enough for me to train my lens on them, I took the shot. Both of them looked straight at me.
That look is what stopped me. They knew exactly where I was. They knew I was there and they stayed, happy to be seen being that happy. Everything else in this collection is a creature on its own. These two are the only pair, and they move in step, in the way they fly and the way they land. Their look says what I would say if I could: and over to you now. It's your turn. Finding that kind of connection is powerful, and it makes being present feel easy and inviting.
Over to You is for the people in your life you haven't played with in a while. Look around at the ones closest to you, and remember the lightness of being entirely yourself beside someone who is entirely themselves. That kind of closeness doesn't need an audience, though it can bear one. The joy of moving in step with someone is what I hope you feel in your home. The fantails have said their part. It's your turn.
